Visitor Access Hours at 7 Community Drive

We are sharing an important update regarding building access at Aspire of WNY’s 7 Community Drive location. To ensure the continued safety and security of our community, and to align with standard best practices for facilities across New York State and nationwide, we are implementing a more structured schedule for visitor access.

Starting Monday, August 31st, the visitor’s entrance at 7 Community Drive will operate strictly between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Please note that visitors will no longer be able to access the building prior to 8:00 AM or after 4:00 PM. Entry into the building outside of these regular business hours is by appointment only. For the purposes of this update, a visitor is defined as anyone who is not currently employed by Aspire of WNY.

For all supported individuals who arrive for programming, access will continue seamlessly through the Day Services entrance (for participants of Day Services programming) via our established system for Day Services operations at 7 Community. For those arriving for clinical services via the Evergreen/Visitor Entrance (i.e. therapy), you should no longer arrive before 8 AM or after 4 PM. If you do arrive before 8 AM or after 4 PM, you will not be able to access the building for your appointment. Waiting in your car or in a safe space until we open for visitors is encouraged.

Employees with card access and building privileges will continue to access the building per the pre-programmed schedule that is determined by your Direct Supervisor, in alignment with administrative guidelines. This change should have no impact on your access.

We understand that this change may require adjustments for some. If you have extenuating circumstances that require special consideration, please reach out to our leadership team by emailing intake@aspirewny.org to have your concern routed to the correct internal party. Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone at Aspire of WNY.
