Please feel free to read our guidelines below and be on the lookout next year for information about the 2026 Spirit of Giving program.

Adopt a Family
The “Adopt a Family” portal is now CLOSED. If you still want to support a family, you can use the form below to donate financially at anytime and one of our designated shoppers will use those funds to bring holiday cheer to a family in need.
For those shopping for families, all gifts will be due back to the Spirit of Giving team no later than Monday, December 1st. Please note: gifts received after this date may or may not be used for the 2025 holiday season. We appreciate your understanding!

Spirit of Giving
For over 25 years, Aspire of WNY has been making the holiday wishes of those we support come true through our Spirit of Giving program.
Every year, during the holiday season, we call on our community to help us identify the individuals and families supported by Aspire of WNY, living in the community, that would otherwise be unable to provide a holiday for themselves or their families (we support everyone living in the household of the supported individual).
In 2022, we extended the eligibility for this program to individuals receiving Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) services in WNY and their families who applied for support but did not receive a service from Aspire of WNY. All these gifts are shopped for and/or supported by generous friends inside and outside of Aspire.
Every year, we have overwhelming needs within our Aspire of WNY community, with dozens of families who need support for the holidays from Spirit of Giving.
