Michele Dodson has dedicated three decades to Aspire of WNY’s mission, rising from Direct Support Professional to her current leadership role. Her deep institutional knowledge fuels her passion for Quality & Compliance, where she oversees daily operations and ensures that regulatory standards translate into exceptional care for the individuals supported by the agency. Michele is actively involved in the NY Alliance Leadership Development Series and several regional compliance committees. When she isn’t championing quality standards, she is likely planning her next family getaway. An avid Disney enthusiast, she often has her next trip to the Magic Kingdom booked before the current one ends.
Tom Matyas
Power Apps Developer
Tom Matyas leverages over three decades of experience to drive digital transformation at Aspire of WNY. Specializing in Power Platform development and automation, Tom focuses on replacing intuition with evidence-based strategies to improve the quality of care in the human services sphere. His background as a Direct Mail Data Specialist at Buffalo Publishing provided a strong foundation for his current work in UX design and data automation. A true creative at heart, Tom spends his time outside of the data world as a painter and composer.

Director of Quality & Compliance
Nicole Nash brings 15 years of industry experience to her role at Aspire of WNY, where she focuses on safeguarding the organization through meticulous risk management and regulatory compliance. She is a firm believer that data-driven insights are the cornerstone of success in the 21st century, enabling faster strategic planning and improved operational efficiency. Before joining the Aspire of WNY team, Nicole built a robust background in benefits and compliance at People Inc. and The Arc Erie County. Outside of the office, she is an avid hiker who finds inspiration in the outdoors; her most recent adventure took her to the stunning Devil’s Bridge in Sedona, Arizona.
Lisa Murdock
Senior Systems Analyst
With 25 years of professional experience, Lisa Murdock specializes in the intersection of technology and non-profit impact. At Aspire of WNY, she focuses on systems integration and analytics, driven by the philosophy that data ensures every dollar is invested where it can do the most good. Her career includes pivotal roles as a Data Analyst at Aon Consulting and a Project Manager at Facing History and Ourselves. Lisa is a self-described “nonfunctional without coffee” professional and an avid reader who spends her free time plotting creative ways to escape the famous Buffalo winters.
