On June 28, family, friends, and Aspire of WNY staff joined together at Russell’s Steaks, Chops, & More to celebrate a very special milestone, Larry’s 75th birthday!
A celebration was held in a private room, where Larry was surrounded by the people who mean the most to him. His immediate and extended family came together, along with his fiancée, Gloria, friends from Aspire of WNY, and staff who have been a huge part of his journey. The day was filled with laughter, delicious food, and, of course, birthday cheesecake!
“I felt great about the party! All of my family and friends were there. My niece, Stephanie, created a picture board and a video of pictures. It brought back a lot of great memories”, Larry said about his memorable birthday party.
Larry Deskiewicz has been part of the Aspire of WNY family since he was just 3 years old, making him one of the longest participants in our history! Today, he lives at our Cayuga Creek group home and attends our 7 Community Day Habilitation. He is also a long standing member of our iXpress program and has created some amazing pieces as an Aspiring Artist. He continues to enjoy the support of his team and the relationships he has formed over the years.
Seeing Larry surrounded by family, friends, and those who have supported him throughout the years was a wonderful reminder of the strong connections that make the Aspire of WNY community so special.
