“Cornflower & Fern” was a fun diptych for Katie to work on. With support Katie used watercolor paper printed with dictionary pages as her background. Working hand over hand, Katie painted the lovely renditions on top of the actual definition of the subjects. Using watercolor and ink as her media, Katie created a lovely and interesting view of a cornflower and a fern.
