Alexandra is an artist you can’t help but to smile when she is in the studio. Her use of bright, bold colors and interesting subject matter is a direct reflection of her personality. You can hear Alex laugh as it fills the entire room. She enjoys the solo aspect of creating art as well as the busy social experience of collaborative projects.
‘Funky Monkey’ is a representation of the pure fun and joy Alex experiences while engaged in the art-making process. With assistance from the art facilitator, the image was sketched onto canvas. Alex worked hand over hand, carefully painting the monkey using acrylic, paying close attention to detail. Alex is proud of the outcome and hopes you enjoy her talent and hard work!
