“Beasts of the East II” was created to honor Mall Blvd’s favorite football team-the Buffalo Bills. Using newspaper photos as well as old road maps, each artist added their own style to this unique tribute. They cut, they glued, they painted, and they cheered as they worked. Mountains were created out of football players, the fans pixelated faces became the night sky. Mighty buffalo silhouettes were cut out of old Buffalo, NY road maps and then adhered strategically to show their great glory and magnificence. “Beasts of the East” is a powerful piece and is a testimony to what teamwork can accomplish.
