Employee Benefits

Medical Insurance

As part of the Affordable Care Act, providers of group health plans are required to provide employees with an easy-to-understand summary of a plan’s benefits.  These documents, called Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC), are designed to help employees better understand and evaluate their health insurance choices.  A Glossary prepared by the Department of Labor that provides definitions of common medical and insurance terms must also be provided.

Aspire sponsors medical insurance plans through Independent Health, and a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) administered by P&A Administrators. Each company has provided Aspire with the following SBC’s and Glossary for your review:

Retirement Plan

The Aspire Employees’ Retirement Plan is a 403(b) defined contribution plan with an employer matching contribution.  As the Plan Administrator, Aspire is required to provide the following Participant Annual Fee Disclosure Notice to plan participants and employees who are eligible but choose not to participate.  This Notice contains plan and investment related information provided to us by Mutual of America.  Also provided below is a summary of the Plan as it is in effect for the plan year beginning July 1, 2013.
