JULY 10, 2023, LAKEWOOD, NY | Aspire of WNY is proud and excited to host Art on the Lake, an event featuring artists’ works from Aspire of WNY’s iXpress program. iXpress is an art program for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Art on the Lake will occur at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel on July 13th, 2023, from 5 – 7 PM. The event is free for attendees, and all are welcome to attend. Light hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be served.
“All year, the artists work to prepare for Art on the Lake,” says Terry Lair, Art Facilitator for Aspire of WNY’s iXpress program. “Their pieces are so beautiful, and they are excited to show them off.”
Framed art pieces will be available for purchase, and every attendee can participate in a raffle to win one of the framed pieces.
“Art is the perfect medium for expression and communication,” says Amy Holdnack, Coordinator of Aspire of WNY’s Day Services and iXpress program. “The individuals we support are proud of their accomplishments and look forward to welcoming the Chautauqua community to see their finished art.”
Art on the Lake is part of a few events that build up to iXpress’s annual event called Art & Wine, held in Buffalo, NY, at Kleinhan’s.
