Gloria is an experienced painter in the iXpress art program at Aspire. Gloria enjoys spending time out in the garden and exploring nature through her artwork. She can often be found painting flowers, landscapes, and vast blue skies. Further, Gloria spends time exploring her emotions through her work, often coming up with abstract representations of her frustrations as well as joys. Known for her paintings of moody flowers, Gloria is equally at home with her landscapes, and also enjoys writing short stories when she is not painting.
“Relaxation” is a landscape scene that incorporates trees, mountains, and a cascading waterfall. Working independently, Gloria utilized acrylic to paint this beautiful oasis. It is her hope that viewers can enter the space within her painting and feel the same sense of relaxation that painting brings to her.
