Larry is a dedicated painter with an open mind, a big heart, and a heightened sense of humor. When selecting subject matter for a new piece, he likes to emphasize that he will try anything at least once. His pieces range from beautiful landscapes to vibrant abstract paintings. Larry spends every free minute in the studio working on his pieces. Larry’s patience and endurance are seemingly endless. While working on Untreated Fields, Larry emphasized warm color combinations and explored different brush strokes. Larry was able to embody the feeling of a desert-like landscape with parts that give a Grand Canyon feel. This painting is done with oil paints which is what Larry usually works with. When he comes to the studio he gets right to work. Using his adaptive headpiece, he feels a great sense of power to create whatever he puts his mind to.
