Communications Coordinator

Aspire of WNY is looking for a full-time Communications Coordinator to cultivate a positive agency image and reputation in the community through management and coordination of all internal and external agency communications output and activities. Strong computer skills, strong written and verbal communication skills and experience working within the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) system all preferred.
 
Minimum Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Social Work or related Human Service field with at least 2 years of applicable experience and at least 2 years’ experience working with people with developmental disabilities
OR 
  • Associates Degree in Communications, Social Work or related Human Service field with 3-4 years of applicable experience and at least 3 years’ experience working with people with developmental disabilities
OR 
  • High School Diploma with 5+ years of applicable experience and at least 5 years’ experience working with people with developmental disabilities
