A Message from Aspire President Thomas Sy

President/CEO Thomas Sy

At Aspire of WNY, for more than 60 years, our foundation is in providing person-centered services for individuals with disabilities and their families. We are driven by the core belief that children and adults with developmental disabilities have the right to realize their full potential and live as independently as possible. We also understand that, in today’s environment, it is incredibly daunting to make sense of the rapidly evolving system of available programs and funding from New York State. Therefore, we realize that one of the most significant relationships that you or your loved one can make is with your Service Coordination Agency.

Our entire team is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those we support by being the agency you can turn to for the answers and services you need. By now, you have heard about the new single point of entry for access to services, called Front Door. Aspire is poised to help you understand the complexities of Front Door, and our Services and Support Navigators can help connect you with available services.

Whether you are seeking eligibility for the first time through the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), or already have eligibility through Front Door, Aspire is available to help you. As an agency, we focus on individualized services. Our expertise is in facilitating self-direction and community-based programs allowing those we support to achieve the greatest independence within their desire and capabilities.

Within this website, you find answers to common questions along with a summary of the unique services that we can provide to you or your loved one. We want to continue earning your trust and help you gain access to programs and services that will enrich you life. Contact our Services and Support Navigators today and allow us to guide you through Front Door and beyond.
