Turning Disabilities into Capabilities

Housing and Residential Jeffery

Offering many different types of homes, the Division of Housing and Residential promotes opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to live in a setting that best meets their needs and desires. Aspire operates over 40 group homes in Erie and Chautauqua counties and continues to add more homes as the need arises.

Individual Residential Alternatives (IRAs):

IRAs offer opportunities for individuals of varying capabilities to live in a setting consistent with the person's need for support. Staff is available based on the individual's needs.

Intermediate Care Facilities (ICFs):

ICFs provide intensive clinical and training support to individuals with extensive needs in a community setting. Residences are staffed 24 hours every day.

Residential Habilitation at Home:

Residential Habilitation/Respite at Home Services are provided by trained agency staff in a person's own home.

Respite (Free Standing):

Aspire offers free standing respite services designed to give family members a break from the rigors of caring for a person with a disability. See our Respite services page for more information.
