Over the past few weeks, Aspire has had the privilege to welcome 3 different Assemblymen to 3 different locations. While at each site, members of the Aspire Political Action Team (APAT) spoke to the Assemblymen to educate them on what Aspire does as well as Aspire's needs. 

Kenmore Apartments welcomed Assemblyman Sean Ryan. Residents introduced themselves and told the Assemblyman about where they worked and what they enjoyed doing in their free time. Assemblyman Ryan also toured one of the apartments. 

Hamburg welcomed Assemblyman Kevin Smardz. Sitting around the kitchen table, Michael O'Brien and Richard Cannon informed the Assemblyman of current needs as well as future needs regarding housing and took a tour of the apartments. 

At Mall Boulevard Assemblyman Goodell arrived and took a tour of the facility as well as met many individuals participating in the day's activities. The Assemblyman came prepared with several questions and left with a better understanding of Aspire and what we do.

We are grateful to the Assemblymen for taking time to come and learn about Aspire and hope that they will be advocates for us in Albany!
