OPWDD Honors Business In WNY
Town Ford Automotive is Runner Up!
Committed to creating new opportunities and programs for individuals with developmental disabilities to find gainful employment, the state honored five exceptional New York State businesses and the employees getting the job done later this month in Albany.
On October 26, the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) held its annual Works for Me celebration from 10 am to noon in the Hart Lounge in The Egg Center for the Performing Arts. FOX23 Albany anchor John Gray served as master of ceremonies.
Occurring during National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), the annual Works for Me employer recognition event honored select businesses for their commitment to workforce diversity. Town Ford Automotive received the runner up in the medium employer category.
