Offering many different types of supports for successful day-to-day home life, the Division of Housing and Residential promotes opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to live in a setting that best meets their needs and desires. Aspire operates over 40 group homes and supports over a 100 individuals and familes in their homes. Services are located in Erie and Chautauqua counties.
IRAs offer opportunities for individuals of varying capabilities to live in a setting consistent with the person's need for support.Staff is available based on the individual's needs and can be supported up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Aspire can work with an individual and the important people in their lives to plan and develop their preferred living arrangements. Aspire staff, through Community Habillitation, provide skills training and development so the person can live as independently as possible. Shared living opportunities to address day-to-day living expenses can also be explored.
