A neurologist who specializes in developmental disabilities and effective seizure management is on staff to diagnose and treat these disorders.
Podiatry
A podiatrist is on staff to deal with problems of the feet.
Physiatry/Orthotics
Evaluations are performed to ascertain the best functional ability of the individual using physical therapy, adaptive equipment and orthotics (bracing). Services are also available in the Southern Tier.
Feeding and Swallowing
Staff will evaluate, treat and provide instruction for safety and independence in feeding.
Assistive Technology
A multi-disciplinary team assesses an individual's needs to increase independent functioning through computer access.
Augmentative Communication
Evaluation and training are offered in the use of assistive communication aids and devices for those who are difficult to understand or who have lost the ability to speak.
Seating and Mobility
Evaluation of an individual's need for and fitting of a manual or power wheelchair and/or other mobility device, such as a walker.
Women's Health
An experienced provider is on staff to offer routine women's gynecological care.
